This is one of many ways to solve this issue.  This solution takes for granted that you have somebody that understands internet connections and that both studios are connected to the internet.  It also takes for granted that somebody at one of the studios is computer IT literate. 1.  Setup a server in one of the studios.  Use FTP to file transfer the video over to the other studio.  If you are working with uncompressed standard definition video, this may require a connection speed of 10 mega bits per second on each end (symmetrical 10 mbps for each end.  This means you have a fiber optical link to the internet backbone of the particular country.)  If you are dealing with MPEG-2 video, the file will more than likely transfer between 0.5x to 2x real-time playback with a connection speed of 10mbps.  2. Setup a connection speed of 100 to 1000 megabits per second if you are dealing with long sequences of uncompressed standard definition video.  At 1000 megabits per second, you should be able to FTP HD uncompressed video files at about 0.5x real-time playback.

Both these solutions require bandwidth and a dedicated link that is expensive, but in some countries, it costs less than others.  It just depends where the studios are located.  Cool
