"Change" by Brad Dick (December 31, 2008), history of Broadcast Engineering and the industry

A belated thank you, Brad, for your article "Change" last December. I was delighted to see your mention of the role of my father (Don Mehl) as founding publisher and editor of Broadcast Engineering magazine. By the way, my Dad is alive and well, and same as ever, he is a fascinating source of knowledge ("trivial" and substantive, categorizations that are 'in the eye of the beholder' of course)  in many areas of the history of communications technology.
