Recently, while working with a Calrec Sigma audio consol, there was a loud high pitched noise whenever the mics are opened. A file reload and consol reset did not help. A reset from the equipment rack finally corrected the problem. The problem only occurred with the mics both hardwired and RFmics.

Any idea what the cause may have been?
